Covid Fighter’s

THEY JOINED THE WAR,

THEY GOT CAUGHT,

THEY FOUGHT BACK,

THEY REJOINED….. THEY ARE STILL IN COMBAT

It is a matter of immense pride for our institute that interns joined the fight against COVID early on, doing check post duties, also became aides to our residents in active swab collection, and managing departmental rotations. Amidst the warfare, five of them namely Shubham, Meet, Vaishnavi, Sakshi and Saloni got grabbed by the virus and they got relieved after being subjected to appropriate treatment and home care. So overwhelmed, they got back fit and fine ready to resume. One of them, Shubham said “Initially I was afraid, but then later with the support of our authorities, I was avidly taken care of and during my fight I had decided to donate my plasma for the betterment of others fallen in the trap”. So overwhelmed, Shubham and Meet both donated their plasma on Doctor’s day persuading the other three to do the same. Meet too quoted “I am glad to be back and am eager to take up my work again.” Hats off to the positivity and endurance of these Fearless Five that boosts up the confidence and energy levels of their colleagues, fellows and faculties of our institute!!!
